Hello everyone! Thank you so much for your kind wishes for me; I have been wanting to post on my blog but not really been able. Surgery was fine, but I didn't realise how sore I would be afterwards, and have done nothing for the past few days but lie on the sofa. I have to say, for such a minor little surgery, I felt pretty bad afterward. I won't go into detail, but the nurse at the hospital said that she had noticed that 'pale redheads' (thanks for that lovely description!) seem to have more problems recovering from the anaesthetic than other people - in fact, when DH and family came to pick me up, they described me more as 'grey'. Luckily, the ill and fainting feeling was gone by the next day; and I was just left feeling very sore. It's good to finally be back on my feet, sort of; at least I am able to sit at my computer and type. The most annoying thing is that they didn't really find anything wrong! So, onto the next step in the plan.
Just a short one for today; have so much to do but still not much energy to do it, and have to start thinking about the next challenge for the Olympics - water theme! Well, at least it will force me to use some different colours for this one - I don't think pink is going to be a common colour in water photos... Will leave you with my last layout for the Olympics:
We were only allowed to use 10 elements for this layout, including photo and title as an element each - that was not an easy thing to do. So, I made this pretty simple page, with this cute photo of Aurelia from a couple of years ago - funnily enough, I don't have that many photos of her sucking her thumb, although she likes to do it all the time! The journalling talks about how we need to stop her doing it - the dentist has said it is damaging her teeth - but that what we are trying is not working! OK, gonna go read all the blogs I have been missing out on now. Catch you later!

welcome back to blogland. Glad to hear you are recovering from surgery. Interesting what the nurses has observed about "pale redheads". Hope the next step goes well. BTW I loved your entry this week, for someone who was having difficulty with her entry that was stunning.
Hi Trace,
Good to hear you are well after your surgery, I think it is a good thing you now know nothing is wrong with you. I love your new page of scrapbooking, it is gorgeous!
I will catch up soon with you and Lee but G and I are on holiday in Crete at the moment but only have 2 days left, then will give you a call xxxxxxxxx
I'm so glad to hear that the surgery went well. Sorry you've been in a bit more discomfort than you expected, but I trust you are getting lots of help & support!
Very interested to read about "pale redheads" as I have 2 of them myself, and both have had surgery while the other 2 (myself & Ethan) haven't, so I have nothing to compared their recovery to ... yet!
I LOVED your entry for the Decathlon, simply stunning (as all your layouts are).
Take care and rest up! You might as well make the most of it while you've got a good reason! ;-)
This is such a beautiful layout, I love, love, love that flower! Hope you're feeling 100% ASAP!
Glad you 'see' you back. Actually I think that nurse was kind of rude, I wouldn't dream of saying that to a patient, not a very good bedside manner.
Good to know there wasn't anything to report, although a little frustrating at the same time I imagine.
Yep like th eothers have said your decatlon layout was another stunner, can't wait to see what you come up with this week.
Keep getting better
(((HUGS)))
That's not such good news, you pale redhead you! At least being fit and healthy it shouldn't take too long for your body to bounce back. Frustrating though isn't it when they don't find anything - you kind of don't want them to on one hand, but on the other side you want some reasons...Looking forward to seeing your water page - but don't work to hard.
Tracey your layouts are stunning - so sorry that you are in pain and that they didn't find anything wrong...Hope you are up and around soon!
What a gorgeous layout Tracy!!
So supa dupa sweet:)
P.S Sorry to hear that you weren't well...Happy to read that you are getting better.
Happy days:):)
Hi Tracy
It sure takes some recovering from doesn't it? It is more like surgery than a test IMO.
Keep taking extra special care of yourself.
Love the layout too. :)
