Oh, oh, oh, I am so excited!! Remember I mentioned I completed a layout at my friend's house last weekend? Well, I have just had an email from Up2Scrap, and it has been shortlisted for the November issue!!!! I won't know until 20th Sept if it will be published or not, so please keep your fingers crossed for me. I have never had a layout published before, so I am very excited to even be shortlisted.
In other news, I'm a bit bummed; we were supposed to be going away this weekend to Taupo, and to take Aurelia to see snow for the first time, but the weather forecast is so bad, we are now not going. So, we will spend a wet weekend at home instead. Never mind, I will try to fit in some scrapping time, but I don't usually get much done on the weekends as I have Aurelia all the time.
I am sitting here in my scrap room, waiting to see what the Sketch Book Olympics are over at http://www.sketchbooknz.com/. Would love to do another competition; I need some deadlines!!
OK, as promised, here is my final layout for SYTYCS - we finally had to do our own style, and I am very happy with this one. I love the photo especially.
