A Very Long One...

Ok, so here it is, just as I promised; make yourself comfy 'cos it's gonna be a long one! We might as well start with Whoo Hoots, seeing as it's Wednesday.

I have already started, and planned, my layout for the Olympic's Rhythmic Gym challenge - maybe this time I won't be racing at the last minute!

I learned how to add a link to someone's name on blogger.

A fantastic, gorgeous, HUGE kit in the mail yesterday from Tarisota, as my prize for the Style File layout for Laura Vegas' Celebrity Challenge at Sketchbook. Not only did I receive the August Obsession kit, but I also received the Addiction kit, a Nic Howard class kit, and other bits and pieces as well!! So generous!! Thank you so much Tamar! At left is a photo of all the bits and pieces.

All of the wonderful people I have met online, who support each other and make lovely comments on my blog, and make my day!!
A great sleep, and sunshine, both of which put me in a great mood today.
OK, that's the Whoo Hoots; now here are some photos from all 3 of Aurelia's birthday celebrations last week:

First of all, on her actual birthday on Thursday, we went to The Library in Onehunga for lunch with her Oma and Opa. Lovely food, and a great play area for the kids - Aurelia had fun, and we were able to relax. Then, it was back home for cake and presents. See her face below, when she saw the trampoline for the first time - I don't think she believed it was for real!! And bouncing on it, a few seconds later.

We got up the next day to Aurelia serenading us with her new guitar and microphone from her Aunty Leanne; strumming and singing away with bed-hair!

On Saturday, we had friends over for lunch with their kids, so (despite my misgivings) five kids spent the afternoon bouncing on the tramp, and putting on a show for us.

On Sunday, we had her party with a few friends at McDonalds. The kids had a great time, and Aurelia got so many lovely presents! I made the cake and iced it myself (a first!) and it turned out OK. Aurelia loved it. Thanks so much to Beverley for the recipe!

And lastly, some pics of my little poser with one of her presents. She got a wonderful Runway/Tent from our friends Kim, Paul and Luke. Straight after the party, she made us erect the tent, and then I had to get my camera and sit on the sidelines of the runway, while she changed into her dressups and put on a show. (Uhhh, I am pretty sure she was in bed when America's Next Top Model was on...). Not sure I am too happy with all this preening and posing, but I guess girls will be girls!

Ok, I guess that will do for today! Thanks for spending so much time with me.

Tracy, you made an awesome job of the cake :)

What a fabulous birthday Aurelia had. I'm sure she will have lifelong memories of it.

Aren't tramps fan-freaking-tastic? We gave our boys one two Christmases ago and they have had and continue to have endless hours of fun on it. We no longer see it as a gift but as an INVESTMENT.

(We got the one with the net around it so even the real littlies can go on it too and we don't have to worry about them falling or anything.)
